Our volunteers come from long-time successful careers as executives and leaders in the corporate, education and nonprofit sectors. Through ESC’s award-winning training and professional development program, our volunteers build on their skills and professional experience to analyze and deliver solutions for the diverse challenges facing the 150+ nonprofit and public agency clients we serve every year.
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of our volunteers are as diverse as their personal histories and interests, and include opportunities such as:
- Working on capacity-building client projects in teams of volunteers
- Serving as a “leadership coach” in guiding and supporting nonprofit staff leaders
- Collaborating as a member of ESC volunteer-led training and professional development faculty and researching, implementing and training your peers in new service offerings or deepening current services to meet the ever-changing needs of ESC’s clients and the wider community
- Supporting ESC’s mission as an administrative volunteer in the ESC office
